Meet our Chief Morale Officer, Marge.

Thursday 11th June 2026

At first, it felt like a selfish perk. Fewer worries about leaving her at home all day, more time together, an excuse to get outside at lunch… But bringing my greyhound into the office has quietly become a bonus for the wider team, too.

This is a PSA to all agencies and employers in general: let your employees bring their dogs in to work.

It has inspired loyalty and gratitude in me personally for making my life so much easier – but it has also had myriad positive effects on the rest of the team:

Pre-meeting moments of calm, check.

A 4PM zoomie partner for our Design Director Steve, check.

A guard dog to keep the office safe from the local cat & squirrels? Double check.

There’s something refreshing about the way dogs interrupt the rhythm of agency work. They don’t care about campaign performance, client revisions, or whether the deck got approved. They operate entirely in the present. Walk. Snack. “Big Stretch!”. Nap. Repeat. In Marge the greyhound’s case; lots of napping.

It’s a small change that offloads mental and financial stress from the owner and introduces a big character to the rest of the office. Every Tuesday is ‘Marge Day’ for us here at Fiora, and every Tuesday Marge is almost vibrating with excitement as we pull up in the carpark. She practically pulls me through the front doors to greet the team with her signature toothy grin and wagging tail during Tuesday morning Stand-ups.

I think I can speak for all of us, Marge especially, when I say I wouldn’t change it for a thing. Here’s to many more “Big stretches” in workplaces across the world in 2026 and beyond.
